I have not observed the Four-spotted Skimmer (Libellula quadrimaculata) in Olmsted County. However, they have been observed in Goodhue county and other counties adjacent to Olmsted county. They are common in northern Minnesota where the specimen below was photographed. They measure approximately 4 to 5 cms in length.
